Knox Box Rapid Entry System

The KNOX-BOX® solution is a secure rapid entry program specifically developed for fire departments. With one master key, the Loveland-Symmes has the ability to gain access to commercial and residential properties located throughout our response district. More than 6,000 departments nationwide use Knox key boxes and vaults, Haz-Mat cabinets, key switches, and padlocks.

High-Security Boxes

Property owners in Loveland and Symmes Township can store their entrance keys in high-security key boxes mounted near their building entrances. Each KNOX-BOX® purchased by the property owner is keyed to a single master key controlled by the Loveland-Symmes Fire Department.

Reduces Responses Times & Property Damage

With the Knox System, there is no delay in waiting for a property owner to unlock the door in the middle of the night, and no forcing the door open to gain entry. The Knox Rapid Entry System reduces response time and property damage.

Commercial & Industrial Requirements

Ohio Fire Code Section 506 requires commercial and industrial occupancies to have a KNOX-BOX® at the discretion of the fire official. It is the responsibility of the property owner to purchase, maintain, and insure that the KNOX-BOX® has the proper keys located within it.

Ordering a Knox-Box
