On Friday morning 12/11/09 at 0728, the Northeast Communications Center began receiving 911 calls regarding a vehicle fire on NB I71 at the Fields Ertel Exit.  Upon arrival crews encoutered active fire in the engine compartment.  No one was injured.  Units responding included T61 and E60.  District Chief Gregory was in command of the incident.  For more photos, please check out our photo gallery.
